I guess I just thought it was something I oughta say...
30 Things I Am Thankful For In 2007
( 0. I think the veritable glut of marvelous food kinda goes without saying...)
1. Daddy.
2. Bobby.
3. Amanda.
4. Danny.
5. Davey.
6. Dougie.
7. Dougie's birthday! 11 years old today. :-)
8. Jared.
9. Ricky.
10. Erinne.
11. Memories of Mom.
12. The rest of my wonderful family. Just too many to name individually, but I adore you all, and I'm grateful to call you my kinfolk. ;-)
13. Joanna.
14. Mama Burks.
15. Music.
16. A warm bed to sleep in, with a heavy comforter and a deep pillow.
17. Clothes. More than I need...
18. Church friends, internet friends, work friends, Boardie Friends, Missouri friends...too many to name, but you know who you are. You're all amazing to me.
19. The days in April and October when some incredible long-distance friends weren't long-distance.
20. The cold weather that's finally here!
21. The heater. ;-)
22. My Bible. Yes, it's cliché. Yes, it's simple. But it's true. How thankful I am for my Bible...and the freedom I have to read it...
23. Brown eyes. (They're just nice, aren't they?)
24. My guitar.
25. The internet. ;-)
26. Jesus. He is so good. And He is so...*so* faithful to me, even when I'm breaking His heart. I just love Him.
27. Ice cream.
28. Starbucks, Saxby's, and Dunn Bros.
29. Warm socks and good slippers.
30. This video that Ethan sent me this week. Amazing...

Really, if you can think of nothing else to be thankful for this year....watch this video and remember your Redeemer. When we walk with Him, He gives us good things...more than we need. How could we ask for anything more?
More than anything, I'm incredibly, mind-blowingly grateful for the blessings I've found in the company of the people around me. Some of you have encouraged me in the darker spots of the year just by calling. Some of you have made me something better just by praying. Some of you have seriously challenged and convicted me just by living.
I thank my God for every one of you.
Be blessed (and aware of your blessing) this Thanksgiving.
Quintessentially yours,
~Ashley Michele~
